DJ Premier Releases New Gang Starr Mixtape

This one’s for the “true Gang Starr heads.” To celebrate the launch of his new Gang Starr clothing line, hip-hop’s legendary producer DJ Premier has released a new mixtape entitled, The True Heads Merch Mix. Before his production appearances on East Coast classics such as Illmatic, Ready to Die, and Reasonable Doubt, Preemo was half of the iconic duo, Gang Starr. Together with the late great Guru they made timeless hits that went on to set the standard for East Coast rap.
