As the de facto standard issue of skateboarders from San Francisco to Philadelphia in the 1990s, the DC Lynx has certainly aged gracefully over the past generations. In celebrating the sneaker’s 20th anniversary, DC teamed up with Bay Area stalwart FTC to release a special rendition of the Lynx. Here we find the shoe in action courtesy of Brazilian ripper Carlos Iqui, who gives us a guided tour of San Francisco’s finest locales. The tongue of the shoe cleverly reiterates tablecloths in the legendary Cha Cha Cha restaurant on Mission Street, an influential skateboarding attraction in its own right. Enjoy the video above as Iqui manhandles tricks in the streets and at Third and Army alike, and look for this special release now at FTC’s online shop.
