The good folks over at WorldStarHipHop bring us their debut documentary, called The Field. The 40-minute visual delivers an in-depth look at Chicago’s current socio-political landscape through the perspective of some of Windy City’s most prominent music figures, such as Lil’ Durk, Young Chop, King Louie, Kate Got Bandz, Tink, and more. The Field focuses on the reasons behind the rise of violence in the city and further highlights initiatives from people like Rhymefest who have been working with Chicago’s youth to change its landscape.
