In a recent episode of 60 Minutes, reporter Bob Simon visited New Zealand for a profile on Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom. Currently embroiled in a legal battle with the United States government, which is actively seeking to extradite him to the U.S., the larger-than-life Dotcom is known for his outsized stature and appreciation for the finer things in life. Since the shutdown of Megaupload, Dotcom has gone on to found Mega — a fully encrypted file-sharing service — and became the highest ranked player in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, all the while fighting for greater internet freedom and less surveillance.
