Brainstorm Digital, the VFX masterminds behind Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street give us a short glimpse of how they created, transformed and enhanced sets through computer-generated magic. Using a combination of blue and green screens, fully rendered backdrops and grafted footage, the effects team was able to come up with solutions for a huge variety location, scale and logistic challenges while pulling off some very beautiful shots in the process. The Wolf of Wall Street was released in December of last year and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a New York stockbroker that rises to power through fraud and corruption during the 1990s.
