Carven presented its Fall/Winter 2014 collection yesterday at Paris Fashion Week. For this season, Carven Creative Director Guillaume Henry drew inspiration from prison mug shots of the early 1900s. Adopting a somber base of neutral colors, the collection conveyed a sense of relaxed class with its baggy pants alongside tailored coats and generously-fitted suits. Other examples of the simple but cohesive design direction included various combinations of black, dark grey and beige items. Look for the collection to reach boutiques later in the year.
