Beck is slated to release a new album, Morning Phase, in February and it’ll serve as his first official LP since 2008’s Modern Guilt. Today’s offering won’t be on it, however, serves as a great piece to start the new year off. The 1970 effort from John Lennon that was more piano-driven now gets anchored with guitar lines and Beck’s trademark vocal harmonies that does the song great justice.
