Rick Owens 2014 Spring/Summer Show Brings Step Teams to Paris

Despite the high fashion disposition of Rick Owens‘s avant-garde fashion, the American designer showed the complexity of his work and ability to juxtapose high and low with his most recent showing. Bringing in a series of step teams, the newly found models put on a show during his Spring/Summer 2014 runway show that embraced Owens’s desire to be inclusive as a fashion label. While much of Owens’s garbs and their subsequent pricing make it difficult to buy into the designer’s brand, concepts like this provide a different kind of reinforcement to Owens’s philosophy.
