Nick Nikon - Mr. Nice Guy / Vengeance

Today we have the privilege of premiering the first-ever solo video from up-and-coming singer-songwriter/producer Nick Nikon. Nikon hails from Toronto, of course adding to the impressive talent that continues to arise from the area, as here we get an initial taste via this short film-style clip, which combines two of Nick’s original songs. “Mr. Nice Guy” and “Vengeance” represent a story of always playing the nice individual, especially when it comes to relationships, but finally realizing that sometimes vengeance is required.

The audio, written and produced by Nikon, is at first a melancholy R&B-esque type effort, but once “Vengeance” kicks into play, it’s a full-on EDM-style delivery, which gets things cranking. The coinciding clip follows the same formula, showcasing two sides of Nick Nikon, who is searching after his love. The story is rather engaging here, as the Zac Facts-directed aesthetic takes you on the journey, leading up to a battle with some zombie-looking characters and Nick finding his lady, albeit in unique form.
