Australian street artist Meggs has teamed up with non-profit food organization FareShare on a mural for Australia’s largest charity kitchen. Utilizing Meggs’ trademark superheroes as core motifs, the mural spans the walls of the warehouse, merging Meggs’ bold caricatures with FareShare’s beliefs as a food rescue kitchen. Considered his most significant solo undertaking to date, the mural took 10 days to complete, with multiple layers of artwork. Carrying the energy, responsiveness and innovative nature of FareShare, the mural is a positive piece bringing awareness to food waste and those in need.
