Having recently unveiled its Sport Quattro Concept early this month, Audi premieres an interesting sculptural installation currently viewing at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Germany where the recently announced concept is at its center. Under the all-white clay Sport Quattro is a carpet of 1,800 miniature models of the German carmaker’s 1980 UR Quatttro; each of which were milled from a seven-kilogram block of aluminum – a material that Audi is very familiar with. A mirror then runs from the ceiling to the floor to offer the illusion that the rows of miniature cars travel forever.
