Thor: The Dark World Official Trailer #2

Supplementing the first official trailer to Thor: The Dark World which premiered back in April, today Marvel unveiled a deeper look into the sequel to 2011’s superhero film. The eighth installment in the long-running Avengers franchise, the Alan Taylor-directed motion picture will of course star Chris Hemsworth as the crown prince of Asgard as Natalie Portman reprises her role as astrophysicist Jane Foster. This film, however, looks feature less of Earth and more of the Nine Realms of Asgard as Thor aligns with his adopted brother Loki to take on a powerful enemy that is older than the universe itself. Thor: The Dark World is due to hit theaters November 8.
