PUMA for VANQUISH 2013 Fall/Winter Apparel Collection

Though we’re about 237 days in, 2013 is still year of the snake according to the Chinese Zodiac calendar. Accordingly, PUMA worked with Japan-based VANQUISH to produce a surprisingly subtle collection of reptilian-printed tracksuits. Not unlike VANQUISH’s collaboration with adidas earlier this year, the collection is executed in all black, this time considering PUMA’s iconic T7 track jacket and pair of track pants. Raised black PUMA embroidery around the chest and thigh respectively add a hint of classicism, while key areas around the jacket – the raised neckline and waist band – add a bit of pattern blocking to the pieces.
