On the heels of the 10 million album sales Ellie Goulding has joined forces with BURNS in order to create a moving rework of Midnight Star’s timeless 1986 hit “Midas Touch.” The song gives us — yet another — indication of the songstress’s versatility as it moves away from pop-infused charm of her recent single “Burn.” “Midas Touch” will appear on Ms. Goulding’s upcoming album reissue Halcyon Days, due August 26.
