adidas Relaunches the Stan Smith

The adidas Stan Smith is set to make a triumphant return this year after several seasons spent sitting on the sidelines. The classic tennis shoe — the first to feature an all-leather upper — was first known as the adidas Robert Haillet before tennis legend Stan Smith signed on to front the shoe. The Stan Smith will launch in limited numbers on September 4 looking much the same as the original. That means it will have the iconic all-white leather upper with the minimal perforated three stripes branding along with the classic green accents. Following the limited launch, the Stan Smith will receive a wider release in 2014. Stay tuned for a closer look at the shoes.
