Mr. Bathing Ape — as its name suggests — is something like BAPE‘s grown-up, more sophisticated sibling, a line for those occasions when a camo hoodie and BAPE STAs just won’t cut it. From the looks of things in its Fall/Winter 2013 preview, you can expect preppy wardrobe staples like gold-buttoned blazers, striped oxford shirts and repp ties — all of them garments that wouldn’t look out-of-place on an Ivy League campus or corporate office. Keeping things grounded, meanwhile, are washed denim and a pair of simple camo sneakers that, despite the line’s mature vibes, retain A Bathing Ape‘s street edge and youthful appeal.
