Earl Sweatshirt Discusses 'Doris' & Criticism Over 'Magna Carta... Holy Grail'

A week ago today, vitaminwater and FADER rented out Ludlow Garage in NYC for an “uncapped” event centered around Earl Sweatshirt. There, those in attendance were able to watch both a live interview and show from the Odd Future emcee. We previously got a look at the live portion when the footage of Earl and Vince Staples performing “Hive” premiered last week, and now we get the Miss Info-led the Q+A segment. Earl touches on a few topics, but the peak of the interview comes when he discusses the retaliation he received for his criticism of Jay Z’s (no hyphen) new album Magna Carta… Holy Grail. Earl’s debut album, Doris, hits stores August 20.
