In case you have missed Crass Mammoth‘s excellent Ef En Eu project a month ago, here’s a chance to set your radar straight. The up-and-coming Georgia rock trio unveil the visual companion to the EP cut “Dear Violet.” Helmed by the band’s Joseph and Matthew Crowe and edited Vanguard Bots, the monochromatic clip perfectly supports the raw blues-injected record that is carried by the disorienting sense of longing. Or to put it in Joseph Crowe’s words:
“There’s this girl who has always come to protect me in my dreams. Not sure what from. Plenty to choose from. The song is about her; someone always calling you, leading you to safety, letting you know you’re not the only one. Homemade footage trying to make some sense of it.”
Watch the video above and make sure to be on the lookout for the next EP from this promising Georgia band to arrive in August.
