Kanye West surprised the world by making his sixth studio album, Yeezus, available on his website a day early, Monday night for $11.99. This was just the latest unconventional strategy (it’s called “no strategy,” remember?) employed surrounding this massively anticipated release after skipping selling pre-orders of the album on iTunes. In addition, the opus is already available to listen to online for some Spotify users whereas iTunes offers the album at $11.99 and Amazon gives it away for at $9.99.
