Superman returns to the screen later this summer in Man of Steel, a reboot of the franchise that stars Henry Cavill as the new Clark Kent. Produced by Christopher Nolan, certainly no stranger to success in the comic book superhero movie genre, and directed by Zack Snyder, the film portrays Superman’s origin story that begins on the dying planet of Krypton before being transported to Earth. His biological father Jor-El is played by Russel Crowe and his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan are played by Diane Lane and Kevin Costner. Man of Steel hits theaters this June 14.
