Justin Vernon’s Volcano Choir – Byegone

Before Justin Vernon was off collaborating with Kanye West or winning Grammy Awards as the frontman of Bon Iver, he was working with members of the band Collections of Colonies of Bees on a side project by the name of Volcano Choir. While the band dates back to 2005, their first album, entitled Unmap, was released in 2009. Over the last few years the members have had their hands full elsewhere, but it was recently announced that Volcano Choir’s second album, Repave, would be hitting shelves by year’s end.
