Soon to begin touring with A$AP Rocky and Wiz Khalifa to promote his forthcoming Summer Knights project, 18-year-old Brooklyn emcee Joey Bada$$ releases the track “Amethyst Rockstar,” which features Pro Era comrade Kirk Knight. A well-known fan of MF DOOM and recent collaborator on the song “World Domination,” this musical diagnosis of hip-hop’s current state features production from the masked villain himself. The track also takes its name from fellow New York native Saul Williams’ Rick Rubin-produced album, Amethyst Rock Star. You can expect to see this track and many more on Joey’s Summer Knights mixtape dropping July 1.
