With the release of Jay-Z‘s “Magna Carta” app dropping today, the music industry was under the impression that Jay would also share the album’s lead single, “Holy Grail,” which features Justin Timberlake. Although Hov announced that the single would be dropping today, he now switches things up, and instead shares more brand new lyrics, this time for a single titled “Heaven.” While his “Holy Grail” single includes borrowed lyrics from Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” the freshly unveiled lyrics to “Heaven,” which look like incorporates lyrics from R.E.M.‘s “Losing My Religion.” Down below you can check out the shared lyrics, and up above you can view a fan-captured clip of the third installment of Jay and Samsung’s series of commercials, this titled “One to Many.” Fans can now expect the JT-featuring single to surface tomorrow, while the full Magna Carta Holy Grail LP will hit shelves on July 7 for the masses, and one million Samsung Galaxy owners will get an advanced copy via the “Magna Carta” app on July 4.
