Japanese architect Kenji Yanagawa of Osaka has created his home as a veritable gallery revolving around one key item: his Porsche 911. Flouting the traditional houses and structures in his neighborhood, the draftsman visualized and constructed this three-level vertical home with vital importance placed on the connection to his automobile from all locations in the building at all times. Besides the common spaces often found in your modern homes, Yanagawa also built amenities most envied by the middle-class such as a music room, roof terrace, centralized skylight for natural lighting throughout the house and, perhaps most importantly of all, pits in the garage for easy maintenance. A pure white interior, half-height walls, and a heavy use of glass all around further accentuate the aesthetic of the car, while thorough steel reinforcement will provide safety and peace of mind in the event of disaster.
