Joy Division's 'Unknown Pleasures' Album Artwork Printed in 3D

Michael Zoellner recently celebrated the illustrious Peter Saville Unknown Pleasures album artwork for Joy Division via the creation of a 3D printing. Inspired by Grand Gee’s documentary Joy Division, Zoellner tried to visualize the iconic cover art rendering before settling for a sketched out version of the PSR B1919+21 waveform. Zoellner then employed 3D layering and touch-up programs such as AutoCAD and OpenSCAD to create the final result — a striking silhouette of frosty ripples paneling across an asperous surface.
