ISAORA x Meyerhoffer Slip In 6.6 Surfboard
Big Apple-based contemporary sportswear label ISAORA has aligned with California surf purveyors

Big Apple-based contemporary sportswear label ISAORA has aligned with California surf purveyors Meyerhoffer for a collaborative Spring/Summer 2013 capsule collection – the highlight of which is undoubtedly a special edition of Meyerhoffer’s unique Slip In board design. Inspired by the classic pintails of the 1970s, the board is meant to juxtapose the retro glide-style of old with the more contemporary turn-based performance surfing of the present – a duality that garnered the “Best In Show” award at last October’s Boardroom Surfboard Show. Presented here in a blacked-out paint scheme with co-branding, this edition of the Slip In measures 6’6” long and boasts a negative side cut pintail for a tighter turn radius, as well as a hulled nose for old school high-speed trim. Finally, the piece is finished with a double concave V-shaped bottom and features polyurethane foam construction with a polyester resin. Glassed in Santa Cruz, the American-made ISAORA x Meyerhoffer Slip In 6.6 Surfboard is now available online for $995 USD.
