Flickr Now Comes with 1 TB of Free Storage

Yahoo!-owned photo sharing database and social media site Flickr recently received a massive overhaul of its look and feel, including in the update 1 TB of free storage (albeit it will come with ads). An unprecedented amount of storage for any photo sharing platform, the site is no doubt eager to accommodate the needs and collections of its current 89 million users and the many others soon to follow with its update of its Flickr Android app which brings it up to speed with its iOS counterpart.

Further adding to the experience, Flickr has changed the interface, presenting the images as a grid of full-res photos as opposed to the text and link setup previously used and a convenient button for sharing to other platforms including Tumblr, which Yahoo! recently acquired.
