Coastal lifestyle brand Saturdays Surf NYC recently opened their new flagship store in the affluent area of Kyomachi in Kobe, Japan. The newly constructed retail space was open to a packed reception party on April 4th, the night before their grand opening. Founders Colin Tunstall, Morgan Collett and Josh Rosen, Japanese photographer Takashi Kumagai and surf legend Kohei Chiba were all in attendance, accompanied by fashion industry executives, managers and models all celebrating the glorious grand opening. The party was also fully catered with exceptional food, drinks, live music and gift packs for early attendees. Alongside the complete 2013 spring/summer collection two special commemorative T-shirts were available for purchase, donning the city’s name in bold font with subtle Saturdays NYC styling. Be sure to visit the awe-inspiring shop on your next trip to Kobe.
