Louis Vuitton Tambour Twin Chrono

Adding to its ever-growing stable of premium timepieces to go along with the rest of its iconic accessories, Parisian luxury label Louis Vuitton has crafted the Tambour Twin Chrono in honor of the 30th anniversary of its America’s Cup-associated Louis Vuitton Cup. Specifically constructed to time a head-to-head yacht race, the watch face sees the inclusion of three chronograph registers – two to time the boats while a third readily displays the difference between the two. The piece features a 47 mm white gold case while a specially-designed 437-component movement with a three-layer column wheel prevents any potential lag when utilizing the various registers in conjunction with one another. Utilizing a black leather strap along with a blue dial and apropos red and white accents, the Tambour Twin Chrono is limited to just 30 pieces and is expected to retail for around $70,000 USD when it arrives at Louis Vuitton boutiques later this year.
