Kirko Bangz is next up on the XXL Freshman Freestyles. For his freestyle, he ditches the auto tune and attempts a rawer rap style than he’s accustomed to. The H-Town native earned his spot in XXL’s Class of ‘13 from the mainstream success he achieved through his hit “Drank In My Cup.” XXL picks artists from different realms of the rap world. Kirko has his own lane of music that has gained its own success. You might not think he’s got the lyrics, but he’s got a Lamborghini. Someone’s paying for his music.
