As the expected May 21 release date for Random Access Memories draws close, Daft Punk continues to reveal small details of their highly anticipated fourth album. The French electronic duo sat down with Rolling Stone to speak on their process in creating the album, which strives to convey robotic voices as humanly as possible, create original sounds without samplers, and ultimately combat the ‘stagnancy’ of modern electronic music. As ambitious as these goals may seem, if anyone can accomplish the mission, it’s Daft Punk.
