Further capitalizing on the popularity of undead-themed maps (this is the fifteenth one so far), the “Mob of the Dead” map will soon release as part of the Uprising downloadable map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Taking place on Alcatraz Island, the back story involves four mobsters trapped inside the infamous prison to fend for themselves against hordes of reanimated guards and inmates, as well as a new boss zombie named Brutus. No stranger to mobster movies — starring actors Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Madsen, and Ray Liotta — the four certainly have their work cut out for them in this genre mash-up.
“Mob of the Dead” will first arrive on Xbox LIVE on April 16th, with ports to other platforms soon to follow.
