Tyler, the Creator, honorary citizen and Colorado native that he is, has been awarded Boulder’s “Key to the City Award.” Or, at the very least, he would have us believe such in the latest clip released by OFWGKTA. By now, we should all know how much Tyler, the Creator loves a good prank. The above video documents the 22-year-old Los Angeles native on the day before his riot-inciting show in Boulder, preceding his performance with another as he staged an entire ceremony dedicated to his ‘upstanding citizenship.’ Egocentrism is a huge part of Tyler’s humor, and irony comes in a close second, as underlined by this funny clip.
