Oregon-based Pendleton Woolen Mills has produced American heritage goods since 1863. While they never particularly departed from this motif, the brand’s Portland Collection revisits this theme in its Fall 2013 designs. Teaming up with three Portland designers – Nathaniel Crissman, Rachel Turk and John Blasioli – the brand shows off a lookbook for the collection. Making use of Navajo blanket patterns, rich neutral solids and pine tree dyes, the Portland Collection celebrates its American heritage with a necessarily contemporary spin. Proudly made and designed in the USA, the Portland Collection by Pendleton will be available at authorized retailers and Pendleton stores in the coming months.
