SUPRA joins the multitude of Chinese New Year-edition sneakers with its special Owen “Plissken.” Choosing a slightly more subtle approach than similar interpretations of the theme, SUPRA keeps the obligatory snakeskin-patterned leather flat, matte, and to the outer contours of the shoe, allowing instead the fluorescent orange accents on the mesh upper and on the outsole to convey a fiercer quality that contrasts with more luxury-minded snakeskin drops. Priced at $90 USD, the special-edition Owen is now available for order over at SUPRA’s website.
