OG Ron C Remixes Beyonce's "Bow Down"
Houston legend and Swishahouse co-founder OG Ron C delivers a double dose of his signature chopped
Houston legend and Swishahouse co-founder OG Ron C delivers a double dose of his signature chopped and screwed sound today, with a remix of Beyonce‘s current hit “Bow Down/I Been On” and his newest mix for FADER.
In anticipation of the forthcoming remix featuring some of the city’s finest, including Bun B, Lil Keke and Scarface, the H-Town producer takes Bey’s already slowed down “I Been On” and gives it his ‘Chopped not Slopped’ take on it, dropping it down a half octave lower for a more lean-inspired sound made for riding slow. For the FADER Mix, Ron C takes a variety of songs from current hits like Drake’s “Started from the Bottom,” Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” to Syrup City classics Lil O’s “Balling in the City,” and Slim Thug and co.’s “Houston” and creates a perfect blend, showcasing why he’s a veteran of the Southern sound.
