After hearing a first impression called “StarWaves” from M83‘s Anthony Gonzalez involvement in the score for the Tom Cruise-starring sci-fi film Oblivion, we now get to hear the title song of the soundtrack which was co-created TRON: Uprising‘s composer Joseph Trapanese. The melodious tune features vocal assistance by Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfør who contributed to Röyksopp‘s “Running To The Sea” recently. The official Oblivion soundtrack drops on April 9, 2013 via Back Lot Records, while the movie hits theaters on April 19 but make sure to tune into the title track below. We have to admit, it’s quite epic.
