DIVINITIES 2013 Spring Lookbook
Inspired by Renaissance and Baroque period art.
Los Angeles streetwear label DIVINITIES, a favorite of the Odd Future crew, returns with their Spring 2013 lookbook. As always, the brand’s strength is in its graphic-printed tees and hoodies, where the label incorporates various pop culture references and streetwear mottos to create their own unique mix of iconography and style. The brand’s unofficial slogan, “Fuck Around And Die!” is featured on a pair of tees. However, the real standouts are the “No Mercy” tee and a hoodie that boasts Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam, which stands as both a testament to and jab at streetwear’s recent appropriation of Renaissance and Baroque period art. Look for the Spring 2013 DIVINITIES collection on the brand’s online shop on Friday, March 15 at 9 p.m. PDT, as well as Minnano Japan, Good Company NY and Infinite SF.
