One rarely hears mid-19th century Japanese baseball uniforms cited as a source of inspiration, but then, one rarely sees a collection as unique as Soulland‘s 2013 fall/winter offering. The range draws a large amount of inspiration from said culture, evidenced by integration of certain waist ties, bright embroidery and cap styles into its present aesthetic. Of course, baseball isn’t the only influence here, with Soulland also embracing dreamlike patterns and rich wools and cottons for an impressive collection. Look for the Danish brand’s 2013 fall/winter collection to release later this year.
