At what may be the pinnacle of hybrid sneaker models, here at the HYPEBEAST headquarters we tend to casually throw around a few combinations we wish to see come to fruition. Although our list of imaginative amalgamations seemed comprehensive, no one thought to see Nike combine its militaristic SFB boot with an iconic AF1 foundation and a dash of the Air Mag’s futuristic aesthetics. Dubbed the Field General Free, this forthcoming Quickstrike drop features an ergonomic silhouette, synthetic textiles, hard-wearing nylon mesh, and a grey speckled Free outsole. Both comfortable and durable, Nike’s latest ‘mad scientist’ experiment belongs on the street just as much as the battlefield. The limited edition Nike Field General Free will release exclusively through retailer Hanon this Saturday with a price tag of £98 GBP (approximately $155 USD).
