adidas Robert Griffin III and DeMarco Murray Birthday Cleats

You know you’ve done quite well for yourself when adidas celebrates your turning of age by designing birthday shoes just for you. This was the case for NFL stars Robert Griffin III and DeMarco Murray who both received specially designed football cleats for their birthdays — Griffin celebrating his 23rd and Murray his 25th. The cleats are special renditions of the CrazyQuick and adizero 5-star 2.0. The former specializes in traction technology by introducing the QUIKFRAME plate that incorporates QuickStuds (for side-to-side movement), SprintStuds (for increased toe-off traction and foot rotation) and BladeStuds (for quick stoppage). The latter model boasts being the lightest cleat in football history (6.7 ounces) and utilizes SprintSkin II and SprintWeb that provide lightweight stability for quicker cuts and movement. Both celebratory models will be made publicly available this spring.
