Taking advantage of the recent surge in winter tourism to the Japanese town of Niseko, Mountain Gear has announced that it will open a temporary pop-up stand selling a wide range of its products. Bringing along a knowledgeable staff to help with selecting the appropriate gear, the small shop will sell snow sports equipment and apparel that includes gloves, beanies, snow boots, backpacks, and much more.  And in utilizing a very trendy retail model as of late, the Washington-based brand has opted to setup shop in a custom-designed shipping container. The Mountain Gear Stand will be open from December 30 to March 31, 2014 at the Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort.
