More of a statement than a traditional bike, the C2 P-51 Fighter has just been unveiled to the public by Confederate Motors. The Alabama-based luxury motorcycle brand has a history of releasing these kinds of statements, with previous releases including the striking X132 Hellcat – which boasted over 150 ft·lbf of torque and more than 132 bhp. The C2-P51 will improve on previous designs, featuring premium titanium, stainless steel and carbon fiber to reduce body weight by 40 pounds. The engine will also feature a new ‘down draft’ injection system, which allows more power while improving on ergonomics. While the lightweight bike is still in the design process, Confederate machines also come with a hefty price tag – as previous models have ranged anywhere from $55,000-$72,000 USD. Enjoy the informational video below, and look for the Confederate C2 P-51 to hit the streets by July of 2014.
