adidas Originals Celebrates Stan Smith with a Global Campaign

To celebrate the return of the adidas Originals Stan Smith this spring, the longtime performance brand kicks off the campaign with a viral film that’s fronted by a cohort of trendsetters. Stan Smith himself is joined by actors Will Arnett, Ana Girardot and Max Greenfield; athletes Derek Rose and Andy Murray; musicians Sky Ferreira, Momo Wu and Kim Ann Foxman; as well as artists Xander Gaines and Hisham Akira Bharoocha; and designers Lucio Castro and Louis-Marie Castelbajac. Each persona shares their thoughts on what the iconic model means to them, while Smith speaks on the success of the sneaker and how it’s shaped the misconception that he’s often mistaken as a shoe.
