Often seen on hoodies and footwear, BAPE‘s SHARK motif returns to the realm of outerwear with the release of the brand new SHARK VARSITY JACKET for Winter 2013. Similar to the SHARK VARSITY TYPE HOODIE that dropped back in the latter part of 2011, the design eschews the varsity’s prototypical leather sleeves in favor of an entirely wool-covered exterior as the fighter-inspired SHARK pattern adorns the matching hood. Finished with details that include leather-accented pockets and a buttoned placket, this season’s SHARK VARSITY JACKET will be available in black, red and purple colorways from select A Bathing Ape chapters beginning this Saturday, December 14 for ￥55,440 JPY (approximately $540 USD).
