Stepping into Fall/Winter 2013, lifestyle boutique Social Status readies the release of its inaugural in-house apparel collection. The shop’s collection aims to encapsulate the same ethos of prestige, power and prosperity that is perpetuated across its brick-and-mortar locations, into a range of luxe street apparel staples. Rooted in a decidedly monochromatic aesthetic, the collection employs a choice selection of hooded sweatshirts, outerwear, crewnecks, and T-shirts as well as a taut capsule of cut-and-sew goods. From chenille-embroidered crew sweaters emblazoned with the Social Status infinity motif and paisley-laden T-shirts, to distressed denim outerwear and varsity jackets, the fall/winter collection embodies the duality of both high-end and street in one singular mix.
