A new report from The Korea Times announced that Apple is moving forward with plans to apply its Retina technology to a line of larger iPad models. The news comes just weeks after the Cupertino giant unveiled its (literally) pencil-thin iPad Air, with the company ostensibly seeking to bolster its lineup ahead of the holiday season. According to the translation offered by unwiredview, a local Apple supplier in Korea confirmed that the 12.9”-screen model is currently being produced by LG Electronics in Korea.
