FrxxMasons - FrxxMasons EP & "My Grxxd/Your B***h" (Video) [NSFW]

Imagine if early party-pop Daft Punk adapted their sound for today’s more mellowed out, “I like to dance, but I also have to be able to hold my camera phone while doing so” type crowd. Instead of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter singing “Around The World,” they made an eerie, less aggressive version of A$AP Ant‘s “Coke And White B*****s.” While the combination would surely be a strange one at first, it seems like the concept has been adapted and somewhat perfected by a group of musicians that call themselves FrxxMasons. I can’t really explain how their music ended up in my iTunes library, but since yesterday’s release of their debut self-titled EP, it’s been atop of my recent plays. The project is composed of five tracks, which feature heavily toned-down trap-inspired production and the group’s auto-tuned vocals. If you allow yourself to listen through more than the first 30 seconds, you might also enjoy what you hear.
