adidas has unveiled this Heather Collection for its explosive adidas Springblade silhouette. Featuring a reworked heathered mesh, the performance trainer incorporates the unique fine-tuned Energy Blades that propelled it into the spotlight earlier this year. Seemingly inspired by the springlike prosthetics of controversial South African sprint runner Osar “Blade Runner” Pistorius, this tech-heavy running shoe continues to sport a flexible Techfit upper, a hard-plastic protective heel counter, and minimal overlays for a pinch-free ride. The striking adidas Springblade will be available in three colorways – grey/orange, red/black and charcoal/blue – for $180 USD on November 21, at the adidas online store and Finish Line.
