When it comes to Cleveland-based songstress Lorine Chia, it seems we never quite get a “normal” release. Whether it’s a reinterpretation of a popular hip-hop song or a tribute to her favorite poem, every song comes with a story, and we like it that way. Today Ms. Chia returns with ”Eve’s Perspective.” As the song’s title infers, Lorine delivers her verses from eyes of Eve (yes, of Adam & Eve), and warns listeners, “Don’t eat the fruit right from the tree / look what it has done to me.” Listen to the well-written tune down below. Chia’s sophomore release, Naked Truths, is due out next week.
